Untitled, In Progress

This p[roject uses video footage shot on a small, pocket-sized infrared camera, capturing random scenes of nighttime city life. Each scene lasts about 20 minutes and covers whatever was happening during this time.

In the actualinstallation video isprojected onto a screen that is hidden behind the wall with one 5x5 inch round peephole, so that only a portion of the video screen is visible.

Limiting the view stresses the notion of gazing, yet distances the viewer from the reality behind the video. In a way, it mirrors how the project was shot.
